Katimas Group reinforced its commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives recently via several contributions to local charitable bodies over the last week, including the Sarawak Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA), Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society, the Salvation Army Children’s Home, Sarawak Society for Parents of Children with Special Needs (PIBAKAT) and Sarawak Society for the Blind (SSB).

Katimas Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato Franco Lee said, “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is very much part of our DNA. It is our promise to continue doing what we can to bring about a change in lives of those in need.”

On 2 November 2022, the representatives of Katimas Group visited each of the charitable bodies to handover the contributions and also took the opportunity to further understand in depth the struggles and needs of each charitable body. The Company’s representatives diligently adhered to SOPs during the handover process with the Charity representatives to minimise the spread of Covid-19 among the most vulnerable members of the community. Katimas Group is committed to progressively doing more for the community via its CSR initiatives and hopes that it can also help to bring more awareness to the struggles of those in need.
