As we look back on 2022, Katimas Group takes immense pride in the positive impact we've created through our unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). This year, we focused on empowering communities, supporting vulnerable groups, and driving meaningful, lasting change.

To foster employee involvement, we encouraged our people to form teams and propose the charitable organizations they were most passionate about supporting. This initiative culminated in a memorable team-building event at Fun Factor on October 22, 2022. The event not only strengthened team bonds but also emphasized the importance of giving back, as employees had the chance to engage with and support various charity organizations.

Our first initiative focused on supporting the Sarawak Children's Cancer Society by raising awareness about childhood cancer and offering emotional support to affected families. We also partnered with the Kuching Children's Home and The Salvation Army to provide care and opportunities for children facing neglect and abuse, believing that ‘Children are the hope of the nation’s future.’ Additionally, we supported PIBAKAT in addressing the challenges faced by orphans and children with special needs, fostering hope and empowerment.
